Word 2008 for Mac and Office 2007 for Windows

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I send Word 2008 documents that I create on my Mac to PC users with Windows 2007, they can open the attachment but when they do, the document doesn't look the same. Many words, not all, are clumped together without spacing between them. Is there something I need to do when I send my Word documents so they will open correctly or do the PC users have to do something? Thanks!

This is a bug in Word 2008 caused by its attempt to handle ligatures.

Try saving the document back to .doc format until Microsoft gets this one
fixed.

Cheers
