Hi,
I am currently working at Independent College. Earlier in the academic year we purchased 50 user licenses for Mac office. The software is working fine on all our machines except for one, a macbook that is used by our Director!!!
When ever he is using word on his macbook he gets a error message displaying he is unable to continue using word as the license permission has been exceeded. The message box also shows the ip address that the macbook is conflicting with and license number.
On further investigation the macbook that is causing the confliction is usually in proximity and using a different serial code than the one being used by the college as part of the license package.
Therefore, I am rather baffelled as to why the error message is being displayed.
Is there anyone who knows a solution to this teaser?
The macbook in question is a 10.5.2 white macbook using Office 2008 for Mac.
Thanks
