Word 2008 send to: as attachment using entourage

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I am trying to send a word document as an attachment using the file menu in word 08.
If I select send - to - mail recipient as attachment in the file menu it opens up imail. I use entourage and don't want to use imail.
I have the default email program set to entourage, but if I go through the word file menu it always goes to imail and not entourage?
I'd appreciate anyone's help!

Are you sure you have the default email program set? Try resetting it
to Entourage--Let Mail open, then go to Preferences and set the default
email app to Entourage. Quit and relaunch Word after changing it--I
think Word loads this information at launch, not on the fly.
