Hi

Updated from word v.X for mac to v. 2008

All my document created previously now have extra spacing on the paragraph marks, thus making a 3 page doc into a 4 or more page doc.

Have set the paragraph and line spacing to 0pt but it still adds the extra space in 2008.

I need the v.X versions to look the same in the 2008 version, as everyone else in the office has v.X

any suggestions

Adding more info:

This extra spacing is not there when i open a doc made in word X.

When i open the same doc in 2008 it has the spacing. It prints out with the extra spacing.

When i create a doc in 2008 - the spacing on both versions is the same.

Same problem:

Updated from word v.X for mac to v. 2008

I installed the latest Office update, 12.1.4, when I installed Mac v. 2008. When I opened my first doc, the problem was there.

Can someone help me? I can't get single spaces between lines in my document. It only comes up double space. Is it me or Office 2008?

The information you need is in the Reply I gave to the originator of this
thread. Follow those directions. If you don't choose to follow the
suggestions already posted it doesn't stand to reason that you'll follow
them if they're posted again.

If for some reason that doesn't resolve your problem it means that your
situation is *different* in some way. In that case it makes no sense to
REPLY to that thread. Instead submit a NEW message including complete
details re your update levels of Office & OS X as well as any addition info
that may have bearing on the circumstances.
