Word 2010 VBA speed

I have just carried out some comparisons of execution speed of Word
VBA. I have 2003, 2007 and 2010 loaded on the one desktop and have run
the same VBA code in each version, against a large document.
Code A - complex VBA code operating on the whole document:
2003 15.6 seconds
2007 85 seconds
2010 31 seconds

Code B - Simple code operating on each paragraph in the document:
2003 3.6 seconds
2007 30.7 seconds
2010 4.2 seconds

Anyone want to comment?
