Word 20102 - Insert 1 of 38 AutoText Entries During Mail Merge

I'm using mail merge to create letters for 38 different authors. I have anAutoText Entry for each author's signature block. Rather than creating anIF field for 39 different options (1 being blank), I'd like to have the field insert the AutoText entry specified in the Data Source. I've scoured this forum and the internet for a clear answer and can't find anything. Cansomeone direct me to a prior posting or provide with some guidance on developing this type of Merge Field?
