Hi,
I have a situation whereby a document has been sent to two authors in track
changes mode.
The original document has been opened and then each of the revised copies
(lets call them A and B) has been merged into it.
When document B is opened by itself, Track Changes clearly shows some
additions to the text. When document B is merged into the original some of
these changes simply do not appear.
When the documents are merged there is a message that appears "The merged
documents contain unmarked changes. DO you want to merge up to the first
untracked change?"
This message suggests to me that some changes have been made without Track
Changes being switched on, but the users say they locked the documents and
that this is not possible.
Anyone come across anything similar?
Thanks
Paul
