Word 2K3: Home Key Strangeness

In Word 2003, the Home key does not return the cursor to the beginning
of the current line, as in previous versions. In addition, the Ctrl+Home
combination does not return me to the top of the document, as in
previous versions. Moreover, I am unable to find these commands in the
Tools | Customize | Commands | Keyboard dialog.

PS I am using a Microsoft Intellitype keyboard.

Suggestions?
