Win98SE; Word 2002.
Word has suddenly started giving me an error every time I save a document for the SECOND time. It's OK with the inital
save and third and subsequent saves, but when I save for the second time, word displays a dialog box that says: "This
file contains repairs made to it by Word. Saving the file will make these repairs permanent. It is recommended you view
the repairs before saving the document." There are then a "Show repairs" button, "Save" button and a "Cancel" button.
Saving always works fine and any subsequent saves just save without this being displayed.
I read somewhere on the WWW that deleting the normal.dot document will fix this. I am reluctant to do this as I have
many customisations of toolbars, menus and loads of autotext entries.
Any help much appreciated.
