Word 6.0 hung up.....PLEASE HELP!

Hi,
I recently reformatted my harddrive and reloaded onto it MS Office 4.3. All
of the programs seem to work EXCEPT Word 6.0. When I click on Word, it
brings up the main screen, but then it just gets hung up with the hourglass
slightly flickering and doesn't stop unless I go to Task Manager to End Task.
It worked before though. I'm using XP. Any suggestions???? Please Help!
