Word 7 strange cursor behavior

Anyone else notice a strange strobe like cursor behavior in Word 7. Vista
SP1, Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS. This behavior is continuous and only happens in
Word. Makes selecting anything with the mouse very difficult.
