Word 9.0 Crashes when using mousewheel

Has anyone else experienced problems with MS Word (2000) where it instantly
bins out if you use the mousewheel?

Hi Ben,

No, I haven't seen this problem. I would suggest that you check the
following.

1. Is there an update available for your video card driver?
2. Is there an update available for your mouse driver?
3. Have you installed all the available service packs for office?
4. Have you installed all the available service packs for Windows?
5. If you have a Microsoft mouse, have you downloaded the latest
Intellipoint software from Microsoft?

I don't know which of these could be causing the problem, so all I can do is
suggest you work through them and hope that one or other of them makes the
problem go away.
