Word 97 - Error upon opening Word

Upon opening Word 97, I get an error message that
reads: "Winword caused an invalid page default in module
<unknown> at 0000.00000000.

I reinstalled Word, ran scandisk, ran disk defragementer
however, I continue to run into this problem. Help!
