Word 97 macros and winxp

With office 97 pro installed on winxp pro machine, logged
in as administrator i am able to record macros in word.
Logged in as a member of the users group macro recording
will not work. I am sure that this a permissions issue but
am not sure where or what to.

Some help would be appreciated.
