Word 97 Screen Position Shifting

For a long while I've had a problem where every time I open
Word97, the window is a little higher on the display.
If I don't drag it down, the next time the Title bar will be
off the screen and I have to use keyboard commands to move
it back down. I always thought screen position was saved in
the registry when a window was closed.

I haven't noticed this with any other applications. Does
anyone have any ideas why this happens? Help would be
appreciated.
