word 97 security MS03-035

I received an email for this security problem with word 97.
I was trying to download the patch, but cannot find it.
It's seem that I need to contact microsoft to get that
patch. It's not on the office download pages and the
office update scan, does not work with word 97. I have
tried to enter the product ID for word in a online help
call, but the PID is refused.

Do I really need to pay microsoft for a call to get a patch?

Where can I download this patch for word 97.

how else will they get your money?

but seriously, I could use this patch as well and its
quite aggravating when I seemingly am forced to call them
to find out a link to download an update

Hi Simon,

Unfortunately for the Office 97 users security
updates appear to be downloadable for 2 of the
four Office updates and two are 'phone home' ones.
