word 97 won't open

i recently loaded office 97 to my desktop. i had to
delete word 2000 in order to get the office 97 setup to
include the older version. however, once i got it to run
through the entire setup, i get the following message
when i try to open word 97.
"The wrong wwintl32.dll has been loaded. Make sure that
the word directory is in the path"
what should i do?

The error message suggests that you have installed the wrong International
ServicePack for Office 97 (e.g. SP1 US version instead of SP1 International
English version). Uninstall it all through Add/Remove programs, run
Eraser2000.exe (downloadable from the Microsoft Office Support site) and
install it again.
