When closing Word97 for the first time as a new logged on
user, I get this message: "Word cannot save changes to the
global template because it was opened with read only
access. do you want to save the changes in a template with
a different name?" You get a choice of yes, no, or cancel.
If you say no, it never happens again for that particular
user logon. But if you log on with a new user ID, the
process is repeated. This happens with each new user
logon. This is a fresh build on a brand new out-of-the-box
Dell Precision 650 Workstation running Windows 2000
Professional. I have never opened e-mail with this, placed
a floppy disk in it, nor has it ever been on a network.
Anybody know what this is?
