Word 98 Doc password

I have a word document that has a password on it that i
put on it, but now i can't seem to open it, is there
anyway i can open this document or break through the
password, it's a very important document.

If you could let me know it'll be great!

If it was going to be easy to crack, it wouldn't be worthwhile having that
feature.

You can google for password crackers, but I wouldn't trust them with your
credit card number....

include details of your application and Windows versions, and whether
or not you have included any service pack updates.

You can "recover text from any document" and will get some
garbage but the text will be salvagable. File, Open, and
change "Files of Type" to Recover Text from any Document.
Be careful you switch back to Word doc before saving the
document again. On earlier versions of Word you can
sometimes insert the document into a blank doc and regain
the document also.
