Word 98 Numpages field problem

Hi NG.
I have a strange problem: created a document, i put in header the "NumPages"
field. On screen is all o.k. and if i print the whole doc everything is
right, but when i print a part of the doc. (e.g. a single page, say page
no.8) i get in header the wrong number (say "page 8 of 9", not "page 8 of
75" as it should be).

Any idea?

I'm using a Mac OS 9.2
