Word 98

Just bought Emac with OS 10.2.4 + OS 9 in Classic environment. Have
successfully installed Office 98 for Mac, including Word 98 which is
my most commonly used application. However, data stored on Word 98 on
my Imac with OS 9.2 won't open, giving me a message with Error Code
-10814. Have searched Mac and Microsoft help sites but can find
nothing. Any ideas what I need to do?

I don't know what that particular error code means.

Does it make a difference how you're trying to open the files (e.g.,
double clicking on the file, dragging to the dock, using the
"File/Open.." menu)?

Does it make a difference if Classic is started already? Word?
