Word Activation Code - basic question

I installed Word 2002 from a genuine source yesterday and activated it as
required.

If at some future date the computer has to be rebuilt i.e. a format of the
hard drive and reinstallation of XP, can this copy of Word be reinstalled or
will the activation site think that this copy of Word is being installed on
a different computer and refuse to accept it?

I suppose the same question applies to reinstalling the XP operating system
on the same computer and activating it, which I assume must be possible.

Provided the hardware has not changed, there should, I think, be no problem
with activation. At the worst, you might have to use phone activation.
