Word and Adobe

While using Word X, if I save the file as a PDF using the Adobe PDF printer
the top of the page is cut off. If I save using the Save as PDF button it
saves the complete page but is also 3 times as large. Does anyone know why
the page cuts off?

I just figured out what is happening but don¹t know why. When I try to
print in Adobe Acrobat from Word it defaults to landscape rather than
portrait. I do not know where to change the setting. Does anyone know how
to correct this?

Hi Mike, I'm in Word 2001 so I have no experience with Print to PDF nor, for
that matter, with Adobe's PDF printer. However, if it's Word that's
responsible for the landscape setting, you would change that in Page Setup.
If it's Adobe Acrobat, then I can't help you. Sorry.

Just discovered that if I change the page set-up in Word it will save
correctly. I do not have to change the page set-up in excel. Is there a
default with Acrobat that I can change?

The problem with page setup is that it's universal. In other words, if you
set your setup to landscape, it's that way for all applications. It would be
great (to me) if the setup were particular to an application or even a
document.
