Word and Mathematica

I have a G4 mac. and a HP LaserJet 4050N printer. I am using
Word X for Macs and Mathematica 5. I want to copy a graph
drawn in Mathematica and paste it into a Word document.

I have tried "Copy As" 1. "PICT" and 2. "PICT with Embedded
PostScript" and pasted with "Paste" and "Paste Special". With
"PICT" and either of the two paste options, nothing is pasted.
With "PICT with Embedded PostScript", the graph is pasted onto
the Word document, but it is not "smooth". When I print the
document, the print of the graph is not "smooth".

When I am in Mathematica and print the graph, the graph is
smooth.

I also have a G3 PowerBook, with Mathematica 5 and Word 98.
Using the same printer, copying with "PICT" and "PICT with
Embedded PostScript" and pasting with both "Paste" and "Paste
Special", the graph comes out "smooth" and prints "smooth".

Is there some option in Word that I need to select in order to get a
"smooth" graph? Ideas and suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.
