Word and network, ftp problems

I want to open an html document on my ftp, but when I go to My network in
Words, it cannot connect to the ftp-server. But I can connect if I go to My
network in the START menu. Why is this? I get the message that I haven't got
ftp access due to my firewall (Norton), but where do I get ftp access? I am
the admin on the computer!
