Word and the OPEN MENU

Ok, you click the open icon and it brings up the open menu. On the left hand side are a bunch of icons which are of no use in this particular case (desktop, my network places etc) I'd like to put the folders I open most frequently there - can I do it?

You didn't mention the version of Word you're using but
