word application unexpectedly quit when trying to print

Hi,
I am running office mac 2004 student & teacher edition on a mac os x 10.5.2
with leopard, I have updated office to 11.3.9, but still when I go to print
or hit command p, word quits. This just started happening last week, the
updates have not helped, but did solve a framework problem.

Any suggestions??

This is either bad printer driver, bad Normal template, or bad preferences.

I would first remove your printer entirely and re-start the computer. Then
put the printer back in. If that doesn't fix it"

Work your way down here as far as "Remove and Replace".
