Word Art not displaying in Word 2007 Beta

Can anyone explain why I can't get the Word Art to display and I create it in
a document in Word 2007 beta. The blank placement holder shows, but not the
text I typed. Using Windows XP SP2 with latest updates, Office 2003
Professional is on the F Drive and Office 2007 Beta is on the G Drive. I am
not on a network. Have 2 gigs of memory. Have more than the needed system
requirements to run any applications with Windows XP SP2. Any suggestions?

Do you have "Show drawings and text boxes" enabled?

Is your video/graphics driver current?

Try this,
Slide the acceleration down on your adapter, control panel, display folder,
settings tab, advanced button, troubleshoot tab.
If this brings your WordArt back into view, you need to update your driver.

Thank you for your response. Although I think I have the most current video
driver by my video card, I will check to see if it is the current driver. I
think it is because all videos, clipart, and images are crisp and clear. My
maintenance technician usually makes sure I have the most current version
driver if he has to install a new hardware device. Since I just updated the
motherboard, video card, and mouse, I know the motherboard and mouse software
are current. If I am still having a problem after following your
instructions, I will let the community know.
