Word Art Wackiness, Zapf Dingbat recognition, QT movie

1. Just upgraded to Office 2004. Opened a Powerpoint X file and found all
of my WordArt slide titles converted to some virtually illegible format with
each character encased in a block. Shutdown PPT 2004, restarted and
reopened the file and everything looks fine. Is this a one time aberration or
is it going to happen to me when I'm on stage?
2. In the same file, I have some tables with check marks (zapf dingbats) that
PPT 2004 says are not on my Mac. They are in the font book. Should I
insert a copy of zapf dingbats into the MS Office 2004 font folder?
3. QT movies in the same file do not play properly - jerky, frame by frame.
Sound is fine. Tried inserting into a new PPT 2004 presentation and got the
same result. Help!!

Many thanks.

This is a known issue. Here is what Nancy Cho [MS] posted:
"We have found a "temporary workaround"...but we see the problem and are
working on it. The workaround for now is to decrease the movie size on the
slide by going to the format menu and select picture. Click on the size tab
and in the scale selection, check the Best for slide show checkbox and
select the appropriate resolution for the slide show display."

Thanks Mickey. It helped a bit, but the reduced size and
subtle jerkiness will not play well in a large auditorium.
What if I converted the movie to some other format?
Thanks in advance.
