Word art

I have a heated question for all you. I am using MS word
2000, I am attempting to insert "Word Art" which is fine
because I can view it in "web-layout" and "print-layout".
The question of the day is this, when I attempt to view
my "word art" in "normal" I cannot. Does anybody know the
answer to the million dollar question?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Dean

You can only view graphics (including Word Art) in normal view if they are
inserted in line with text.

WordArt will be the death of me! I hope someone can help me with this.
I've added a WordArt object to my document. I formatted it as "Behind Text"
so that the it appears transparent and the underlying document can be read
through it.

It appears fine in Print or Web Layout views but when I actually print it,
the object comes out opaque. When I try to edit the WordArt object, I can't
select it with the mouse or the cursor.

Any ideas on how to select it for editing and on how to make it print behind
the text as it appears in Print or Web Layout view?

If you want this to be a watermark, it will work best to anchor it to the
header paragraph (create it with the header pane open). That way it will
repeat on every page, and you can easily access it with the header pane open
because the document text doesn't get in the way. This might also affect the
way it prints.
