When I use word art it will not apply my chosen font. It keeps Arial
all the time.

I lso used to use Text Art when I was on windows xp. Is there a version
of that for Word for MAC X?

You change the font in the Edit WordArt Text dialog, right?

Yes,
I change the font in the dialogue box. It shows that font name and
shows it correctly in the box. I click ok and it comes up Arial always.

Given your previous posts, I really think there is something wrong with your
Normal template and/or prefs. Test both using the procedures I referred you
to on the "menu changes" thread.
