Word as email editor taking a long time to launch

This just started today and for the life of me, I can not
find anything that would cause this. When I highlight an
email that I have received and press "reply" it takes
about 3 minutes for WORD to launch. It usually takes
about 5 seconds and at the most about 20 seconds. Any
ideas as to what is happening here?
