Word as Email Editor Won't Work

I recently purchased Outlook 2002 and installed. I had
Office 98 already installed. Word as email editor option
is greyed out and not accessible? Looks like the 98 stuff
is in a folder called Office while the new Outlook is in a
folder called Office10.

Any thoughts and thanks for the help.
