Word as Email editor

D

Danny Sanders

Using Office 2000, installed PDA software that suggested the upgrade to
Outlook 2002 and supplied the program.
Upgraded Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2002. All other Office programs are Office
2000. Now I can't select "use word as email editor" this area is grayed out.
How can I get access to the grayed out area to select "use word as email
editor"?

Thanks

You can't. Outlook requires the same version of Word.

Thanks I kind of figured that.

I guess it's time to upgrade to Office XP.

Yes and send a thank you note to Bill for keeping MicroSoft lucrative.

If you do not wish to use the later version of Outlook, then uninstall it
and revert to the previous version. Bill Gates' company is in the business
to reward its staff and shareholders for their hard work. If you wish to do
neither, then use an OSS solution.

Every proprietary company is in the same business - ask Steve Jobs Apple why
some versions of programs do not work with OSX and they must be upgraded.
Oh, and ask Adobe why Acrobat 6 will not work on Windows 95.

(BTW - this is in response to Gerald Fay)
