Word attachements do not make it to adressee

when I attach a document, my recipient does not get it. In some cases the
ending of the designation of the document changes to "dat" and it can not be
opened by the recipiant.
do i need to change settings somewhere? how do I do that?

Hi lucasd,
don´t use HTML as Email Format!
