Word audio files

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Does anyone know how to extract the audio files from MS Word and convert to MP3?

They are already MP3, you just need to dig them out of the document.

Make a copy of the document and Unzip it.

They're in the "media" folder. Having unzipped the document on the Mac, you
won't be able to open it again in Word.

Yes. It's called the "BOM Archive Helper".

Easiest to change the extension to "zip" and double-click the file. You
will be handed a folder of the same name containing the "zip" file contents.

I saw the other post. I'm sure those other ways will work. However, there is a much easier way to do it (if you are okay with MP4 rather than MP3).
-first go to Tools
-Audio Notes
-Export Audio

You will be able to save the MP4 where ever you want.
