Word Auto Save. Entourage Forward

I can hardly believe that a feature as significant as the automatic Save for Word has been removed in Office 2008. I actually called MS Help who told me that it was removed because people relied on it too much. How in the world could MS do such a profoundly stupid thing?

about Entourage: why doesn't it forward as it came? The URLs especially are not linked when the message is forwarded. I have used Redirect but even that doesn't work sometimes. (I have checked this in preferences so that's not the cause). Office 2004 had the same problem.

I'm afraid there is at least one misunderstanding somewhere, although where
I'm not sure. The fact is that "the automatic Save for Word" was not removed
in 2008 because there was no automatic save to be removed. That was done
away with prior to the move to OS X, although I can't recall exactly which
version last included it.

OTOH, if you're referring to "Save AutoRecover Data" -- a horse of a totally
different color -- that feature has not been removed or changed.

I can't help with the Entourage issue but you may be better off posting it
to the newsgroup which specifically deals with that program.
