Word: AutoFill Recipient Address via Envelopes and Labels?

Word 2000 or Word 2003...

Informal letters have no need to include a recipient's name and address
at the top of the body of the document where Word would ordinarily
capture the data and use it to auto-fill the textbox for the recipient's
address via the Envelopes and Labels wizard.

If that address block is not present within the document body there
doesn't seem to be a way to auto-fill or otherwise populate the textbox
used for a recipients mailing address by using the address book button
via the Envelopes and Labels wizard. Using that address book button
only spits out the recipients name.

Is there a way to auto-fill that wizard when the recipient's name and
address are not included in the body of the document itself?
