word automation in office 2007 compared with earlier versions

Does anybody have experience with upgrading an access application that
includes automation to word (mailmerge)?
Also, is there somewhere resource/article/book that I can read about the
issues when upgrading earlier versions of an Access database with VBA code
to the 2007 edition?
