word bookmark problem

I try to reposition double bookmark [ ] ranges. i have tons of them, s
i need either find/replace or vba/macro.

current format is :
[21:20 this is test this is test this is test this is test.]

I want double bookmark for numbers only:
[21:20] this is test this is test this is test this is test

How are you using these bookmarks? In cross-references? What kind of numbers are
"21:20"?

I'm asking because you may be able to extract the number by adding a formatting
switch to the REF (cross-reference) fields.
