Word bulleted paras not adding space beforeor after paras inside bullet list

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Not sure how to best explain this, but now in 2008 when I have, lets say, four paragraphs that are bulleted, and I highlight them all and click on "add space after" (6), the space only gets added after the last bullet para and not between the bulleted paras - what gives???

Please let me know what is happening - thanks - Divonne

That's a setting in the style named "Don't add spacing between paragraphs of
the same style".

That's an HTML convention: turn it off when working in normal documents.
