Word cannot be launched

It just happened today that Word does not start up from the dock. I
tried from Application but it did not work either. I use OSX 10.3.4.
Please help.

Did you install anything recently ?? It could be a bad interaction with
this software (like third party QuickTime codecs).

You could also try deleting the Carbon Registratio Database and World
font cache from the Microsoft prefernces in your pref folder (they'll be
automatically re-created fresh).

Otherwise you could try the usual: repair permissions, check the
directories for damages and check for font corruptions. These are very
often responsible for this kind of trouble.

It started up after following your instruction (deleted Carbon
Registration and others). If something happens, I will post a thread
again. Thank you for your quick help!
