On Word startup, I get this message, "Word cannot find EZphoto.dot". If I
press OK, then Word seems to function normally; but I think this message
dialog may be preventing Word to work with other applications such as
QuickBooks.
This message started showing up after I unsuccessfully tried to install a
scanner and scan software. Since the scanner wouldn't work (it was
second-hand) I uninstalled the programs. However, Word was giving a dialog
box upon closing/exiting asking if I wanted to save changes to EZPhoto.dot.
I thought I could stop this if I deleted EZPhoto.dot, but now I get the
subject message on startup. Repairing or re-installing Office does not
remove the problem.
I think it is a macro being executed on startup, but I don't see it in the
Word startup folder. Any clues?
