Word 2003 - Language English (South Africa)
Default Language Win XP and Word set to English (SA)
"Do not chak spelling or grammar" = Unchecked
"Detect Language automatically" = Unchecked
Spelling errors are not flagged while typing, When requesting a spell check
I receive the message:
"Word cannot find the spelling file C:\program Files\Common Files\Microsoft
Shared\Proof\MSsp3EN.lex"
When checking spelling in other English eg. English (U.K.) or (U.S.) the
spell check runs fine.
The spell check for English (South Africa) worked fine till recently, and no
new software has been installed.
I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled Office after first attempting
a repair, Service pack 2 is installed and I have copied the relevant files
from another computer where the spell check is working.
Please Help!
