"Word cannot open this document template"

I have been trying to open my saved Word documents but I
get an error message stating "Word cannot open this
document template.
(C:\PROGRAMFILES\...\STARTUP\PALMAPP.DOT)" The problem
started yesterday. Anyone have any suggestions? Any help
would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance. By the
way, I have Word 2000.

Hi Patricia,

Locate Palmapp.dot in the specified path and move it out of the folder
to prevent Word from trying to load it when it starts.

If Word is unable to load it then chances are there is a problem with
the template. You might was to check Palm's web site for an update.
