Word Cannot Open...

Every time try to open a word document from windows
explorer a message appears "Word Cannot open the document
(<path>\<filename>). clicking ok opens the document.
if word is already open then there is no problem.
any idea's to get rid?

Sounds like Word's registration has gone awry - start Word from Windows
Start > Run with the command Winword /r
which will reregister it.

I get that also, however clicking on OK doesn't open the
document. I cannot open ANY Office document, whether
created in Office 2003 or earlier (Office XP).
