I have a word doc that contains some command lines for colleagues to
use. However, Word 2003 (11.6359.6360) SP1 replaces the - character
with something else! I keep changing it back to a proper - character
but occasionally I will check and it has changed it again! Any idea why
this is?
When I copy the text, paste it into Notepad, save it, and then do a hex
dump, the character shows up as code 96, and displays as a u with a
circumflex. Any tips on how to avoid this problem?
The commands are these:
bin/uv -admin -stop
bin/uv -admin -start
It keeps chanmging the second - but not the first. When pasted into
Telnet, the second - just doesn't appear.
