This one is driving me crazy!
One of my users (non-admin) is having Word close on her every time she
uses the increase or decrease indent buttons on bulleted text. This
doesn't happen with the separate administrator account on account on
her G4 PowerBook, it doesn't happen with a new non-admin test user on
this machine. Every time an indent is increased or decreased it quits
and brings up the MS reporting/recover function.
The setup:
- 1.33 GHz G4 PowerBook
- 1 GB RAM
- Mac OS X 10.4.10
- 50 GB of free disk space
- MS Office 2004 / Word v11.3.5
I've tried:
- Rebuilding permissions
- Reinstalling MS Office 2004 removing all MS preferences files
- Removed all fonts from /Library/Fonts and ~/Library/Fonts
I'm not sure what else to do or try except rebuilding this users' Home
folder from zero, but I would hate to do that to find out it was
something else.
Any ideas good ideas for me to try?
