Word Closes when exiting Outlook

We really pick up the strangest issues in our offices here! One of my users
is having problems with word closing everytime she exits Outlook... This is
driving her crazy. I thought that maybe turning Word off as the editor, then
turning it back on would help; but it didn't. Any ideas?

Sorry - I forgot to mention that it's in Outlook 2003. She also tells me
that just reducing Outlook to the task bar can also makes it close; but this
doesn't happen every time. She can't replicate it when I'm standing there;
but soon after I walk away it happens to her again!

You sure this user didn't configure Outlook to minimize to a tray icon?
Have her look in Task Manager's Processes tab to see if outlook.exe is
still listed as loaded after she says it "closed".
