word columns in powerpoint

I know by importing a word object that I can create
columns just as I would in word. My question is, lets say
I have a list of clients (in column form), is there a way
to have the list waterfall or cascade to the next page?

I thought that you are limited to the space in the text
box. If there is a way to accomplish this please advise.

(PowerPoint 2000)
